Maker story
A Raspberry Pi Zero and Pi Camera 3 shoot into a 4 inch Spectra 6 color eInk panel. Electrical charges physically move ink particles into a dithered, newspaper-halftone image that stays on screen with the power off, so the camera doubles as a desk photo frame between shots. Originals and dithered copies land in a web dashboard, the whole design is open source with build instructions on GitHub, and individual orders are hoped for in the near future.
